These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FixQuote ("the Service"), operated by Kogrify ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What FixQuote Does

FixQuote is a software tool that helps tradespeople create estimates, send them to customers, convert them to invoices, and collect payments. We provide the platform — you provide the services to your customers.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. What You Can Do

• Create and send estimates and invoices to your customers.
• Collect payments through our integrated payment processor (Stripe).
• Store customer contact information and job history.
• Export your data at any time.

4. What You Cannot Do

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Send spam, fraudulent estimates, or misleading invoices.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service.
• Use the Service to harass or deceive anyone.

5. Payments & Billing

• Free plan: 5 estimates per month, no charge, no credit card required.
• Pro plan: $79/month, billed monthly. Cancel anytime — no termination fees.
• Premium plan: $149/month when available.
• We do not process your customers' payments. Stripe handles all payment processing. Stripe's fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are separate from our subscription fees.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Your Data

• You own your data. We do not sell, share, or use your business data for advertising.
• You can export your data at any time.
• If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Availability & Reliability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses caused by Service downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

FixQuote is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of estimates or invoices you create.
• We are not responsible for disputes between you and your customers.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

9. Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• No cancellation fees. No contracts. No "call us to cancel."
• After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
